About

The target audience for this blog consists of most of the people I’m surrounded by and observe on a daily basis.

I am hopeful that more people will take the initiative to become more informed and ultimately just care more about such critical and fundamental social issues. It has always interested and simultaneously concerned me that so many people are unaware of important contemporary issues, especially in an era of accessible information. Further, I have more recently been concerned about the media coverage of certain issues that cause confusion, perpetuate fake news, or sources that are intimidating in terms of language and readability for those who may not be as experienced in global development topics.

So, I am writing this blog in hopes that it will be an easy to understand, educational tool for anyone who could benefit from developing their perspective and who is willing to learn about things that are happening outside of their personal bubble.
